Promedica24 franchisee Tahira Rahman is setting the bar high for care in Harrogate and York

Despite having a successful career, Tahira Rahman wanted something more for herself and her family. When she found Promedica24, it prompted Tahira to reassess many things on a personal and professional level.

Tahira has been running her Promedica24 franchise in Harrogate and York since July 2016. A successful and highly respected family law solicitor, she is no stranger to the emotional decisions of those experiencing turmoil or in a vulnerable position.

She says: “My father had been ill prior to his death. He didn’t want to go into a home and when he was being assessed by a social worker, the quality of carers available was terrible.

“In the end I looked after him, which was hard both physically and emotionally. I wish I had known about live in care at the time, as it would have been a blessing. I know there are hundreds of people out there in the same position and I’m both determined and proud to help them.”
