When you join Shuttercraft, you become part of one of the UK’s leading window shutters franchise companies
Shuttercraft relaunched the franchise as a ‘management’ model in 2016 due to the extraordinary growth of the UK shutter market.
Successful franchisees will be fantastic communicators, be prepared to work hard, follow the Shuttercraft system and be fully committed to getting the business off the ground as soon as possible.
To help you understand more about the Shuttercraft franchise, here are a few frequently asked questions:
Do I get a territory?
You get a protected geographic area created using sophisticated demographic information that’s based on real customer profiles.
Shuttercraft ensures each territory has the client base needed to build a significant business. The company will discuss your territory at an appropriate stage and as long as you can satisfy the demand for its services in your area, the territory will remain yours.
What is my role in the business?
Your role is to effectively manage the business on a day-to-day basis. This includes sales promotion and business development, quoting for new work, surveying and having your team install the Shuttercraft product range.
You are the brand ambassador in your area and as such represent the values of the entire franchise network.
Am I suitable?
Ideally, you will already have some sales and/or management experience. However, Shuttercraft does offer full training and support to help all franchisees hit the ground running.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential and franchisees must be prepared to work hard. To succeed, you need an eye for detail and a passion for excellent service. You must be a people person with the ability to become a trusted adviser to your customers.
Will I be installing shutters?
No. Although Shuttercraft gives you all the training needed to install shutters, you’ll not be doing the fitting. You will manage a team who will do the physical fitting, leaving you to focus on developing relationships and growing your business.
How much can I earn?
Your earning potential will depend on your efforts and ambitions. A franchise has tremendous potential to offer a significant level of financial return.
Typically, you will be looking to generate revenues in excess of £500,000 over the course of your first three years.
Shuttercraft has developed detailed financial models based on its experience and will happily share these with you following an initial meeting to discuss your suitability.
