Home Instead’s annual conference celebrates the network’s passion for care

Its franchise network now employs 12,000 care professionals providing unrivalled, quality home care to 16,000 clients

Although held virtually once again, the conference was a great opportunity for Home Instead to share its visions for the future, whilst being able to celebrate the achievements of its 240-strong franchise network over the past 12 months.

Following the theme Our Time, the conference reflected on the Home Instead network’s strength and determination throughout the past year. Even though times have been challenging, franchisees and their teams continued to display an undeniable passion for what they do.

And this passion is reflected in their growth, with care hours across the network up by 18.5 per cent over the past year. The Home Instead franchise network now employs 12,000 care professionals providing unrivalled, quality home care to 16,000 clients.

The UK franchise celebrated the milestones achieved across its network, with an overwhelming number of offices achieving record growth over the past year and receiving glowing feedback from staff in its PEAQ feedback, with exceptional levels of employee satisfaction.

Alongside this, Home Instead announced its Caregiver of the Year finalists, an outstanding individual whose dedication to care has made a difference to clients. The winner will be announced later this year.

And as a bit of fun for franchisees, Home Instead welcomed John Courtenay, winner of Britain’s Got Talent, who wrote a bespoke song, recognising the growth and achievement of the Home Instead network and the impact it has.

Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead UK reflected: “Home Instead makes a difference to peoples lives, how many businesses can say that?”

Home Instead franchisees have been able to nurture and grow their businesses, even throughout unusual times, due to ongoing support from the national office team. Support is provided in every aspect of running a Home Instead business, including changing regulations and developments in the sector, as well as with recruitment and retention.

Since being acquired by Honor in August 2021, Home Instead’s mission has aligned to further enhance quality care through technology and professionalisation. Building on this, the company announced at its conference that its hardworking caregivers will now be referred to as ‘care professionals’, reflecting the true skill and dedication they all display in their daily work.

Home Instead’s annual conference is just one of the ways the network comes together to celebrate achievements, share best practice and enjoy themselves. Franchisees also benefit from a strong peer support network, including regular regional meetings and referral networks between neighbouring offices.

Ruth Brown, director of business development at Home Instead said: “We all love coming together for conference; sharing news and updates, all whilst celebrating the extraordinary achievements of our franchise network.
