Hub Care Support launches new franchisee training programme

The programme aims to give franchisees a better understanding of how the industry works as well as develop a deeper appreciation of how self-employed personal assistants work

While Hub Care Support has always been keen to recruit the very best to its network, in the past, it has focused on prospective franchisees who already have considerable experience in the care sector, but that’s all changing with its new franchisee training programme.

“The Hub Care Support franchise is all about empowerment – empowering service users, empowering carers, and above all, empowering the franchisee,” says operations director Natasha Dorling, whose background is in HR and recruitment. However, she found her true calling when she moved into care. Having worked as a Hub Care PA herself, she has a unique insight into all aspects of the franchise.

Hub Care Support will be offering prospects an extra three and a half days of in-depth training in mandatory care skills, covering 19 key subjects. This way the team ensures that franchisees will have all their extensive experience and expertise at their fingertips.

“The programme aims to give franchisees a better understanding of how the industry works as well as develop a deeper appreciation of how self-employed personal assistants work and what they need,” said co-founder James Ritchie.

James has worked in care since he left school at 16. Seeing how the industry was crying out for a new way of doing things, he was inspired to co-found Hub Care Support in 2012.

Hub Care Support is a professional introduction service which matches service users with the right personal assistant for their individual needs.
