The mid-July training was held at the MagiKats head office in Farnham, Surrey
The children’s education franchise recently completed its first socially distant training with four new franchisees – Fay in Newquay (Cornwall), Sally in Lytham St Anne’s (Lancashire), Kirsty in Thornton (Liverpool) and Kate in Tenterden (Kent).
Sarah Marsh, director of operations, said: “First socially distant franchisee training complete! There were some challenges and we would have struggled in the building if our own student workshops had been running, but I think we managed to keep a high standard of training and this new bunch are really strong so I’m excited to see how things go for them in the coming weeks, months and years!”
All from teaching backgrounds, the new franchisees are based across the UK and attended the MagiKats three-day training course at its head office before heading back to their own locations to put into practice the marketing elements of training to build student enrolments ready for the launch of their tuition centres in September.
Due to COVID-19 and children being out of school for over 18 weeks there has been an increase in interest in what supported tuition can provide not only over the summer holidays but also to get children back into learning and catch up on what they missed.
