Oven cleaning franchise Ovenu has experienced a massive increase in traffic to its website.
Organic search volume soared by 193 per cent to more than 20,000 sessions in April, compared with 2017 – with direct traffic up 222 per cent over the same period.
Meanwhile, website visits from social platforms have increased 404 per cent, and referral traffic has grown by 37 per cent.
Founder and managing director Rik Hellewell says the increase in traffic to its website not only reflects the shift to online but also highlights the growth of the brand.
Rik added: “We have not only invested in upgrading the Ovenu website, which also includes making it smartphone-friendly, but our clients are recommending us and sharing their excellent experiences with our franchisees.”
Ovenu has also benefitted from the Trustist technology, which monitors and amalgamates reviews from different sources and social media streams, improving clients’ search engine optimisation and standing.
It also adds structured data to the pages which tells search engine sites like Google about the reviews and causes the star ratings to display against the listings in natural search results, with location-specific reviews displayed for each area.
Rik said: “The statistics clearly show that the Trustist review platform can deliver compelling and business-boosting results.
“The increase in traffic to our website via natural listings is significant thanks to Ovenu’s association with Trustist. Reputation is extremely important to Ovenu and through this advanced hi-tech system, we can see immediately how we are regarded by our clients and demonstrate to potential new customers the high levels of service we offer.”
Nigel Apperley, CEO of Trustist, said: “Showing the reviews off in search results helps Ovenu to take up even more space in search while making sure they stand out much more than competitors – all things that can help to boost the amount of traffic a website receives.”
