97 per cent of franchisees want to expand and 100 per cent feel supported by the head office
After a challenging few years for everyone, Razzamataz Theatre Schools is pleased to announce its franchisee survey yielded some very positive results. In a tough period for the performing arts sector as a whole, Razzamataz has stood strong with 97 per cent of franchisees wanting to expand their businesses and 100 per cent feel that the head office does everything it can to support them. This came to the delight of founder and MD of Razzamataz Theatre Schools, Denise Hutton-Gosney.
She said: “The event is a great chance for people to learn more about how you can run your own lucrative business through franchising. There are many opportunities, including resales and new territories, through which you can be your own boss – something more and more people desire after an unusual few years.”
One key takeaway from the survey results was how much respondents missed contact with their fellow franchisees. At the start of 2022, Razzamataz was able to hold a conference for its franchisees in London and plans to help franchises further stay in touch.
Razzamataz is also working closely with a number of experts to address issues with the work-life balance that the pandemic has highlighted across every sector. One-to-one support sessions, ActionCoach training and social media marketing schemes to help franchisees work smarter not harder will help address this.
Previous surveys have shown franchisees struggling with day-to-day admin and budgeting. The announcement of a new smart business management system is expected to address these concerns.
The need to take the business largely online during the pandemic saw the pause of several business incentives but now Razzamatz is happy to announce increased training for teachers and franchisees alongside various growth initiatives supported by Adam Stott, an experienced business coach and mentor.
Denise said: “There will be incentives at every level to encourage and support franchisees to build their business as well as small mentoring hubs led by bfa award-winning franchisees. We have lots of exciting plans for 2022 and beyond, including two amazing performance opportunities for our students in the West End, which is a huge marketing opportunity for franchisees.”
Asked about the three best things about being a franchisee at Razzamataz, some respondent’s answers included:
• 24-hour support where needed
• Financial rewards
• Expansion opportunities
• Excellent brand awareness
• Industry knowledge
• Flexibility
• Helping with children’s confidence and social skills.
• Strong core product, with flexible additional revenue streams.
