Instead of the typical set-up cost of £81,000, new franchises will cost only £45,000
To celebrate its 25th year in business, the sign and graphic specialist will be unveiling an initiative designed to make owning a Signs Express business achievable for a new generation of entrepreneurs at The National Franchise Exhibition, NEC Birmingham on October 3-4.
Instead of the typical set-up cost of £81,000, new franchises will cost only £45,000 - a 45 per cent saving.
PACKAGE
The set-up fee includes a Signs Express franchise licence, plus everything a new franchisee needs to get going.
In addition, the company has negotiated a range of affordable funding options for key printing equipment to ensure monthly cash flow is manageable.
“Our business model is extremely successful and we’re committed to growing our brand,” Signs Express director Tony Marsh says.
“We’re looking for ambitious entrepreneurs to grow with us, but we know we need to remove some of the barriers to franchising.
“We’re confident that the 25th anniversary franchise package we’ve devised is unique and will make Signs Express accessible to more people.
You might call it the ultimate birthday present for aspiring business owners.”
In essence, Signs Express is investing its usual franchise licence fee back into a new franchisee’s business, as well as providing a comprehensive package of support, professional fees, premises expenses, IT equipment, marketing materials and training.
Tony adds: “While some of our colleagues in the industry may question our decision to reduce our fee so dramatically, we believe that by investing in a new generation of franchisees now, we will reap the long-term benefits as a business - seeing our network grow and thrive for many years to come.”
