MyPass allows entry of students and parents while remaining socially distanced
Swimtime, one of the UK’s largest swim schools, has launched a contactless access system called MyPass.
MyPass uses artificial intelligence to allow entry of students and parents to a venue just 15 minutes before each lesson, all while remaining socially distanced.
By displaying a large, colour coded access pass, venue staff can verify whether a customer should be on site at that particular time, minimising the chance of congestion and the risk of social distancing measures being breached.
The system works in real time, referencing the exact sessions each child is registered in and contains a number of security features that operate on any mobile device without the need to download an app.
The design of the system allows venue staff and Swimtime’s network of franchisees to clearly review the pass from a safe distance without the need for either party to come closer than two metres.
At the end of the lesson, MyPass automatically revokes, allowing staff to know straight away if individuals should be present in a venue or not.
Rachel Brooks, operations director at Swimtime, says: “Like many businesses, COVID-19 has presented a challenge for our network of family run businesses.
“The joy of being a Swimtime franchisee is we can challenge our partners to innovate with us to support our network to get back on its feet quickly and safely.
“MyPass is a great example of the benefits we can deliver as a brand.”
