The conference takes place on 15 June in London
Amrit Dhaliwal, chief executive officer of Walfinch, is confirmed as a speaker at this year’s LaingBuisson Social Care Conference – the industry’s leading event – where he will be joining a panel to discuss the current issues impacting today’s UK’s home care sector.
With an estimated 950,000 people receiving home-based care services from around 10,000 providers, demands for domiciliary care continue to increase as people choose to receive support at home and maintain independence. With an ageing population, this is projected to increase further still.
As CEO of a rapidly growing home care franchise network, Amrit will be outlining his thoughts on steps the industry needs to take to improve carer recruitment and retention, in addition to considering the role technology innovation has in delivering efficiencies.
He confirms: “Since the pandemic, demand for home-based care and support has soared and as an industry, we need to ensure we have the skilled people, processes and resources in place to deliver the very best service to everyone. I am delighted to be speaking at this year’s LaingBuisson Social Care Conference to discuss the changing home care environment with industry peers, regulators and senior policymakers, and in sharing best practice that we can all take away and learn from.”
The Social Care Conference takes place on 15 June in London. The event provides a platform to present arguments and engage in a positive dialogue while receiving exclusive access to proprietary LaingBuisson market research.
