Fitness franchise to offer free well-being appointments and bespoke membership
Anytime Fitness is offering free well-being appointments as part of its partnership with Public Health England on its Better Health campaign.
The appointments will give people the chance to speak to Anytime Fitness staff about their well-being and how exercise can support them with their health goals.
In addition, the fitness franchise, which has around 170 clubs in the UK and Ireland, is offering them a three-month membership. Anyone who signs up will also receive an Anytime Fitness e-book containing a 12-week health and exercise plan.
The Better Health campaign launched on July 27 and is aiming to combat the alarming statistic that nearly two thirds of adults in the UK are overweight or living with obesity.
It supports individuals on their weight loss journey and provides accessible ways of getting physically active and addressing barriers to getting started.
Neil Randall, Anytime Fitness UK CEO, says: “This is a landmark partnership for us and we’re looking forward to working with Public Health England.
“Communities across the UK have an opportunity to hit the reset button on their health and our independently owned clubs are here to support them.
“We can offer spacious, welcoming and safe health clubs for people to begin their health journey without trepidation or fear.
“We’re incredibly passionate about the positive impact that physical activity can have on the health of the nation and this is a great opportunity to use the high level of expertise within our clubs to benefit the local communities that they serve.
“People’s health is more important than ever and as our brand promise says, we want to make healthy happen.”
