Business development manager and bid writer to support national growth plans
Commercial contract cleaning specialist Ecocleen has made Sarah Fear its new business development manager at the same time as appointing Nicholas Calderwood as bid writer.
The staff additions are to support the business’ ambitious growth plans, according to the company.
Sarah joins Ecocleen from Citron Hygiene, where she was responsible for identifying national account opportunities and closing new business.
In her role as business development manager, she will develop relationships with key customer accounts, as well as building long-term relationships with all stakeholders and driving growth in new markets.
Nicholas has a track record of managing bids on a global scale, having previously worked at Blue Water Shipping as global contracts coordinator.
He will be instrumental in preparing documents to win contracts to provide services and communicating with procurement officers from various organisations.
Mark McMullen, Ecocleen’s chief commercial officer, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Sarah and Nicholas to Ecocleen.
“The team and I conducted a thorough search for these crucial appointments and I’m confident they will make a great contribution to the ambitious vision that Ecocleen has for the future.
“Both Sarah and Nicholas bring experience, integrity and confidence to our growing team, which will help us rise to any challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
