Promedica24’s countdown to national coverage continues
Five new franchisees, four new support staff, three new sign-ups, two new offices and one mission - to become a national care franchise with a difference. Promedica24 continues its impressive growth as it expands into the north.
Former international sales director Tony Lamb and ex-teacher Jeremy Spencer both trained in August. For Tony, having seen the success of his friend, Nick Pope, Promedica24 franchisee for Newcastle, the business offered the perfect mix of financial prospects and community value.
Passionate
Jeremy experienced poor levels of domiciliary care first-hand when trying to find care for his father. He is passionate about building a business that tackles these problems and helps others in a time of need.
“Witnessing poor service and the lack of care shown had a huge impact on me,” Jeremy says. “I only wish now I had known about live-in care at the time. My business is not only going to provide me with a financially stable future, it’s going to change people’s lives for the better.”
Leaving behind a career in the Met Office, Gary Derbyshire and his fiancé, Gill Clements, have launched their Promedica24 franchise in the Ribble Valley. They trained in September with fellow franchisees John Pughe and Vic Oakden, who are already making a splash in North Cheshire and the Wirral despite only launching this month.
Investment
In preparation for supporting its five new northern business owners, Promedica24 has invested in four new members of support staff and regional offices in both Manchester and Glasgow.
Here, care managers and franchise development managers will work closely with local franchisees, ensuring Promedica24’s seamless placement of carers and levels of both customer and franchisee support are maintained to the highest standards.
Dan Archer, Promedica24’s franchise director, says: “Our mission is to be the UK’s largest live-in care provider by 2018. We’re already the largest in Europe and as live-in care becomes increasingly well known the demand for the service across the UK is increasing exponentially.
“With our UK head office in Watford and the new regional centres, we’re able to comprehensively support the growth of our franchisees and their individual businesses.”
