The SUBWAY brand and Euro Garages have announced plans to open a further 69 outlets across the group’s existing 120 forecourt site estate by 2016.
This expansion drive will create around 700 new jobs, with the new stores bringing the total Euro Garages sites with a SUBWAY store to 100.
Euro Garages already owns and operates over 30 SUBWAY stores across the UK and has seen significant success with the brand.
Having acquired 45 forecourt sites from Esso last January, Euro Garages will also target these locations as part of its expansion plans across the north east, Yorkshire and north west.
“The forecourt and convenience sector is a key area of growth for the SUBWAY brand,” says Trevor Haynes, area development manager, SUBWAY UK and Ireland.
“The simple operations that are involved in running a SUBWAY franchise and the convenience offer make it a perfect fit for these style locations.
“We have had a very long and successful relationship with Euro Garages and are looking to build on this with future store roll-outs.
“Working with companies such as Euro Garages, the SUBWAY brand can take a collaborative approach that delivers a flexible business model, real partner benefits, including increased footfall, ongoing marketing support, sustainable sales and excellent business growth opportunities.”
