Home care services provider seeks graduate franchisees

PerCurra offers proven franchise model, plus financial incentive to join the established UK network

PerCurra is aiming to recruit masters and MBA level graduates by offering a two-year payment holiday, as well as a proven franchise model.

The home care specialist’s graduate franchisee package includes a six-month tailored training programme, initial and ongoing assistance with marketing, staff recruitment and client acquisition, plus access to PerCurra’s bespoke IT systems.

In addition, the business can be run from home, keeping start-up costs and overheads to a minimum.

Individuals taking advantage of the initiative would be required to pay £5,000 (plus VAT) on application, plus a further £5,000 (plus VAT) once they’ve signed the franchise agreement. The remainder of the £32,000 total investment would then be paid in monthly instalments from the end of the second year of trading.

PerCurra franchisees provide a range of services, from personal care and assistance with everyday tasks, to round the clock care and respite care and holidays.

Gill Heppell, PerCurra’s founder and managing director, says: “It’s often thought that the home care sector involves looking after elderly people and there is a stigma about the day to day role of what’s involved.

“However, at PerCurra 75 per cent of our business provides care for people who are under the age of 65. Our services are for people with a range of needs resulting from learning or physical disabilities, mental health or other health issues. We pride ourselves in helping people live the life they want to live, which makes this an extremely rewarding business.”

In the UK, there has been a significant growth in the demand for at-home care services.
